Oh, and if you’d like to meet up on Zoom before you submit a deposit to a stranger on the internet, we can do that. Just follow the calendar link listed on the submission form. Plus, then I might get to meet your pet in real time — and who doesn’t want more pet time?!

Once your details are submitted, I’ll get started. We’ll establish a delivery or pick-up date, and then you’ll get your custom portrait!

  1. Submit your form (and if you like, schedule an optional 15-min meet-n-greet from the link on the form)
    Upload your favorite image (or a few). I’ll make sure I have what I need to capture your pet’s personality.

  2. Submit your deposit.

  3. I sketch, paint, finish, and deliver!
    Once it’s sealed and ready to hang, your portrait will be available delivery or local pickup. (Delivery is included within 10 miles of 27511; additional delivery or shipping fees apply outside that range.)

Hi, I’m Cathlyn.

I started painting to fill a wall with images of my cat, Tucker. Now, I’ve painted lots of other beloved creatures — those who are still with us and those who have crossed the rainbow bridge.

My work and life here in Cary, NC (just outside of Raleigh) touch many aspects of creativity, from writing and speaking, to theatre performance, to baking, to painting seasonally-themed work and pet portraits, to crafts and DIY.
