Your Power Idea is the driving belief behind your business — the thing you find yourself saying over and over again, even when no one’s asking. It’s not a catchy sound-bite or a brand slogan. It’s the idea that helps people finally get what you do and why it matters. Everything else — your website, your emails, your signature talk, everything — builds around it.
Then, we create the talk itself.
We build out a bank of content (stories, phrases, metaphors, visuals, stats, frameworks) that all relate back to your Power Idea. We’ll use a lot of this content in your Power Talk, yes. But you can also return to it anytime you need a little inspiration or support. So whether you’re writing an email, creating a slide deck, pitching a podcast, or training your team, you’re never starting from scratch.
When it’s time to structure your talk, we won’t info-dumping your whole origin story or trying to force an outline. What we will do is design what I call a “belief journey.” This journey will moves your audience from where they are now to where they need to be in order to take action. And in creating that journey, we meet your audience where they’re at, so we know where to start the talk and how to get them to the conclusion.
